Synopsis

This work is the result of a collective construction of debates generated in the discipline "Gender and sexuality", given by one of the organizers of the work, Professor Marcela Zamboni, in the Postgraduate Program in Sociology of the Federal University of Paraíba (PPGS / UFPB) and the collaboration of part of the members of the Group of Affective Relationships and Violence (GRAV). The topics covered are related to research on gender and sexuality developed by students linked to the field in the Postgraduate Program in Sociology (PPGS), as well as the Postgraduate Program in Legal Sciences (PPGCJ) of the same institution, highlighting their concern. authors with social and legal practices, in order to explain social phenomena related to this theme, also to promote social and legal changes that guarantee greater gender equity, from a sociological lens.
